The Optic Fibre Splicing Course is a 5-day classroom-based Facilitator-led Course. The course is structured to help participants acquire good optic fibre splicing skills. Whether you do splicing outdoor or inside customer premises, a good splice is a must to minimise transmission losses. The course is offered at our training delivery venue in Eersterus, Durban and kwaThema. If required, it can be offered at customer sites nationally and in surrounding countries. On completing the Optic Fibre Splicing course you be able to: – Discuss the history of Optic Fibre and explain the principles of Optic Fibre transmission. Discuss various Optic Fibre Network Architectures. Apply relevant safety procedures when working with Optic Fibre Prepare Optic Fibre cable for splicing and discuss the best practices in splicing Perform fusion and mechanical splicing in single-mode fibre Identify and explain relevant Optic Fibre Test Instruments Perform tests on Optic Fibre splices and links using OTDR, VFL and OLTS

Refund Policy
A full refund is payable if cancellation is received 7 days or more before the scheduled start date, in case of cancellation by the participant.
A 10% cancellation fee is deducted from the refund payable if is received between 2 days and 6 days before the scheduled start date, in case of cancellation by the participant.
No refund will be payable on the start date, however, in case of legal or medical emergencies the candidate participants may be accommodated in subsequent scheduled classes.
If Supreme ICT Academy initiates the cancellation, an alternate date will be proposed to the candidate participants. If the alternative date does not suit the candidate, she/he can apply for a refund.
