Data Networking Principles

The Data Networking Principles Course is aligned to US ID 246684: Demonstrate an understanding of Data Protocols principles and applications. It will contribute to the full development of any learner within the Telecommunications environment, more specifically within Data backbone environment by providing recognition, further mobility, and transportability within the field.

Course Outcomes

Upon completion of the Data Networking Principles course, the qualifying learner is capable of:
Describing synchronous and asynchronous data communication.
Describing computer network types and standards.
Demonstrating knowledge of main features of LANs.
Demonstrating knowledge of main features of WANs.

Delivery Mode

The course is offered using Facilitator-led virtual classroom or physical classroom mode over two days.  For virtual mode it will be necessary to have a laptop and have access to router to do the practical exercises.
